At The Fish, we are committed to ensuring that our facilities and services are accessible to all guests. Whilst we are situated on a hill, with no rooms in the main lodge we do strive to provide an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and comfortable.

 

Parking and Entrance:

  • Accessible parking space is available by the entrance to The Lodge.
  • Ramp access to the main entrance of The Lodge. There are no steps within The Lodge or on the outside terrace areas.
  • Arrangements can be made with our reception team to enter through the side of The Lodge, bypassing the ramp.

 
Interior Access:

  • One step leads out from the Conservatory and Hook restaurant, but step-free access to this area is available through the bar.
  • Ramp access is provided to the Nest/Reception area.
  • Assistance/ Transport is available upon request with our reception team, providing access to accommodation, The Lodge, or other areas on the estate.

 
Accessible Rooms:

  • Room 20: Located on the ground floor with no steps. Features include a lower toilet, handrails in the bath, a lower-level sink, and a parking space outside the room. The safe is positioned at a lower level in the wardrobe, and the clothes rail can be adjusted to a lower height.
  • Shower seats and non-slip bath mats are available upon request.

 
Accessible Bathrooms:

  • The Lodge has an accessible bathroom equipped with a lower-level toilet, handrails, and a pull cord for assistance.

 
Additional Services:

  • Feather-free bedding is available.
  • Assistance dogs are welcome.
  • We accommodate all allergens and dietary requirements.
